Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our programs and services

Do you offer trial lessons before enrollment?

Yes, we offer a complimentary 30-minute assessment session for new students. This allows our coaches to evaluate your current skill level and recommend the most appropriate program, while also giving you the opportunity to experience our coaching approach firsthand.

What equipment do I need to bring to lessons?

For your first few lessons, we can provide racquets if needed. You should wear comfortable athletic clothing and proper tennis shoes (not running shoes). We recommend bringing a water bottle, towel, and hat/sunscreen for outdoor sessions. As you continue, we'll provide guidance on selecting appropriate equipment.

How are groups organized in your programs?

We carefully organize groups based on age, skill level, and learning pace to ensure productive learning environments. Our junior programs use Tennis Canada's progressive development framework, while adult groups are structured by skill level from beginner to advanced. We regularly assess students and make adjustments as needed.

What happens if it rains during an outdoor lesson?

Weather contingency plans are in place for all our outdoor programs. Depending on availability, lessons may be moved to our covered courts, rescheduled, or converted to indoor technical/strategy sessions. We communicate any changes as early as possible via email and text message.

Do you offer private lessons?

Yes, we offer private (one-on-one) and semi-private (two students) lessons with all of our coaches. Private lessons provide the most personalized instruction and are ideal for addressing specific technical or tactical aspects of your game. These can be scheduled as standalone training or as supplements to group programs.

How do payments and cancellations work?

Program fees can be paid in full or through installment plans. For private lessons and short-term programs, payment is due at the time of booking. Our cancellation policy requires 24 hours' notice for private lessons (48 hours for weekend sessions) to avoid charges. Program withdrawals are subject to our refund policy detailed in the registration agreement.
